FAIR-SPACE Researchers' Workshop

In July, the whole FAIR-SPACE Hub partnership gathered at the University of Liverpool for their Quarterly workshop to share their project progress and discuss collaborations, share best practice and also get an update from the internal management team. It was also an opportunity for some to meet with the new Hub Director, Professor Sir Martin Sweeting, for the first time. Ann Swift,  Partnerships Manager, also gave an update on forthcoming events and industrial engagement activities.

In addition, some of the team were invited to visit the Virtual Engineering Centre in Warrington and were lucky enough to be shown some of their latest technologies for AR and VR with specific links to space scenarios. We hope to work together with the VEC on a future event to explore the interest and expertise in space robotics technologies that are burgeoning in the North West.

Many thanks to the Liverpool team for being genial hosts and for enabling such glorious sunshine during our stay.
