The Living in the IoT conference is an international conference, which was held at the IET, Savoy Place, London, from 1 - 2 May 2019. The conference was the second annual conference organised by the IET and PETRAS, the National Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security of the Internet of Things. Keynote speeches were given by Professor Phil Blythe, Chief Scientific Adviser for the Department for Transport; Professor Tom Rodden, Chief Scientific Adviser for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport; and Minister of State for the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, Margot James, MP.
In a session on Space and Supply Chains, Professor Carsten Maple, FAIRSPACE lead from the University of Warwick gave an overview of the FAIRSPACE project and current funding opportunities. Chronis Kapalidis presented work from Warwick and Liverpool on Cyber Risk Management in Space Systems, drawing on the outcomes of a workshop held earlier this year. Both talks were well received by the audience and interest in FAIRSPACE was strong.
